We are committed to the success of all South Kingstown schools as great places for educators to work and all kids to learn.

We love the South Kingstown Dual Language Immersion Program, not apart from, but as a part of South Kingstown public schools. A true, robust DLI program that achieves the district's goals of bilingualism and biliteracy by 8th grade is not at odds with a vibrant, forward-thinking, and equitable school district. We are committed to real measures to improve equity and access in the program. We are also committed to improving language programs for all SK students. We believe that a strong DLI program needs a strong school system and that a strong DLI program plays a vital role in the long-term flourishing of SK schools

We value accountability, actions over words, and owning the impacts of actions and inactions.

Our words should not be seen as an attack on any administrator or elected official, but they do express our serious concerns that deserve action. We call for any and all administrators, elected officials, and candidates for office to affirm these values and commitments, take our concerns seriously, and implement concrete actions to address them.
